I created this entire arrangement around the most divine lilacs!! Parrot tulips in pink and purple, Butterfly ranuncs in pale yellow are total stars!!!!

One of my bespoke arrangements for the Cheney-Baltzell Manor House at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA. Created for the Mass Hort Garden Party and based upon research of the designs of the Edwardian era.

Easy Breezy Summer Into Fall Arrangement

I LOVED doing this early fall arrangement. It was slightly chilly outside—but still beautiful enough for me to consider it Jack Rogers weather (!!)—and I felt like mimicking the day with my flowers. I used some late summer flowers together with some early fall elements (cabbage flower!) to represent the late September/early October day, keeping it loose and light. One of my favorite creations of late.

Pink Fall Florals

Detail of a purple and pink design I created for a fall party. Love the fuschia peonies with the dark purple cabbage and the various purples and pinks within the cymbidium orchids. And the eucalyptus ties it all together.

Ultra Violet!

To usher in 2018, I went out and found bunches of Ultra Violet double tulips. Simplest “design” ever…and one of the most beautiful. Simple can be perfect.

Healing Flowers

I always love the combination of pink and green, and this design was no exception. It was pure perfection to me. And I loved designing it.

I Forced Them by Myself!!

My gorgeous paper whites, which I anchored with red twig dogwood and a pretty white ribbon and bow. I placed them on a silver tray to enhance the rectangular crate I used for forcing. This was the centerpiece that I used when our house was on the Historic House Holiday Tour in Weston, MA. (Pre-Civil War Tour)

Springtime for Coldwell Banker

I created seven loose, springtime arrangements for the Coldwell Banker (Wellesley) Christmas party…..held in April!! As is often the case, the winter event had to be postponed due to one of our snowstorms making the decision to wipe out everyone’s plans for several days. The designs I created for this party were filled with all sorts of fabulous blooms—-and, as is my practice, each design for each table was different!

Easter Centerpiece

This is a centerpiece I created for our family Easter last year. It’s one of my favorite creations of last spring. Lush, beautiful EVERYTHING!

Fall Urn Arrangement

This was such fun to create. All sorts of fun elements, including orchids, mums, gerberas, protea, berries and italian ruscus (if I remember correctly!).

White Pumpkin Centerpiece

Pumpkins and air plants live in harmony with poppy pods, thistle, dried oregano and dried mushrooms in this unexpected fall floral design.

Fall Pumpkin Centerpiece

A white pumpkin serves as the container for this lush fall design. I am in the mood for an understated palette this fall, and here is an example of that aesthetic. Light pinks, greens, lavenders, plums and purples.

Fall Centerpiece...with Some "Traditional" Colors

A white pumpkin serves as the vessel for this centerpiece design. I decided that I should probably try to include some of the more “traditional” seasonal colors, despite my mood for muted palettes post-window box creations! This design contains fresh, as well as dried, elements.

Three Pumpkins in a Basket

A wooden basket holds 3 snowball pumpkins arranged with dried elements galore…(with the exception of the air plants—they’re real, too!). Poppy pods, Globe thistle, dried mushrooms, dried oregano and moss tie this spherical look together. Very “fall” without screaming fall….

White pumpkins, cabbage or kale (whichever you prefer), moss, dried herbs and millet (with some pods, of course….lotus or poppy) make a great looking, easy to create centerpiece that will last all fall!
